walk on the beach...............

feel the sand beneath my feet

i look down at my painted toes

red and tingling from the cold of the ocean

i shiver with excitement

i lift my face to the summer sky

and breath in the cool air

it won't last much longer

but i shall walk on the beach

and feel the sand beneath my toes
