{my favorite things ~ stride gum}

Yum! This gum lasts forevaaaa!!! Minty freshness in my mouth. There are many flavors too. These are my two favorites, the green and the light blue. hehe! There is also the magenta, burgundy-ish, and the dark blue. LOL Yeah, the light blue is sweet mint, the green is wintergreen, the dark blue is spearmint, the magenta is a berry, and the burgundy-ish is cinnamon. I think. You have to go see for yourself. Anyways, I am a nut case, but back to the gum. It's awesome! Okay, I need to go find my marbles. Later!!!

{my favorite things ~ my journal}

Seriously, my journals ( I say journals because obviously I have had more than one) have saved me at times. Those times I really needed a place to vent the pen and paper were there waiting patiently for me to get it all out, and I know that it will never tell a soul. My journal is the place I voice my deepest thoughts and the craziest, stupidest thoughts too. No, you shall NEVER see it. I am so embarrassed of so many things in there but I will never rip a page out because I love going back to read what I have written months and even years later and being able to laugh at myself and see how far I have come.

We will be able to move a week from today (full story), finally. Right now my computer with all my pics and my editing software is in storage until we move, so no pictures for awhile. If you do see posts with pictures after this it will be because I have two or three scheduled posts that I did this last week so there won't be plainness for a week or two. = ) I am so excited to be moving, one, because I will be getting my own room for the first time IN MY LIFE, and, two, because it is an awesome location for shooting - fields, horses, train tracks, local airport, ect. Can you say AWESOME?!?!?!? lol Okay, I have to go get the rest of my school work done. I know, bummer. Oh weeellll.

{my favorite things ~ lemon sorbet}

~ zesty, lemon, sweet, sour, tingling. The ultimate melt in your mouth lemony perfection. I love this lemon sorbet. It is awesome stuff especially on a warm summer day. It is one of those treats that you only have to take four or five bites to be done so one little carton lasts for a couple of weeks, if your stretchin' it out. = ) hehe!

I am starting a weekly or bi-weekly thing of my favorite things just so I can have a reason to make myself take pictures every week...LOL.

To make over my blog? I have tried, but it will not work for me. I haven't found exactly what I am looking for but I do have one I sort of like over here. Everyone is going for that more professional look and that is what I want also. If you could tell me everything you are doing for that I could learn how to. This sounds so confusing. *grrr* Okay, if anyone wants to have a go at it, please let me know. It's no big deal...Thanks girls.

{walk around my world}

Wow...It has been a long time since I last posted. I had not taken any pictures in awhile either if it makes you feel any better. LOL So, today I decided I needed to take some pics. I couldn't go anywhere but I walked around my apartment complex and the next apartment complex and got these shots. They aren't very good, I know, and I didn't really edit them except for cropping and tinting a couple, but I hope you enjoy them. The first one was originally red in real life but on camera it turned pink. I think it was because it was bright. I don't know. I just went out with an open mind and even though I was like I have been around this area a hundred times, I just shot anything and everything just to relax. So far, we haven't really hit fall yet. The sky is slightly cloudy for the first time and it did get just a tad windy so I hope it rains soon. Earlier, it was cool enough to sit around with a sweatshirt on but unfortunately that only lasted about 15 minutes. hehe I hope your weather is cooling down. I am posting tomorrow for sure so be ready for a copycat version of the thankfulness going around. Hey, at least it's a good thing. LOL

Sometimes, I want to kill my computer. Okay, a LOT of the times. I am trying to make a new header because I didn't like the huge part of my face in the last one. Well, I have to start totally over which is okay, but now every time I upload it to my layout it is humongous. I honestly have no clue what it is doing. I will just wait a couple of days and tough it out with the lame, plain header, then try it again. Usually that works, I don't have the patience right now. That was my ranting for the day. I will most likely get some new pics up in another post. Well, not new pics, but never seen before, hopefully.

I am doing these two pictures for the assignment at The Fringe in Focus . The top one is a building on a old property about a mile away from where I live and the bottom is the view through my bedroom window (cropped of course), but this is the other apartment roofs I see. Well, I guess I am going to keep my original name. Some did vote for Focal Point Photography and I liked that too so I might add it to photos later, later, later on. Anyways, thanks for all who voted. I wasn't sure about this name because as I was going through photogs one day, I noticed that there are a LOT of girls with the middle name Elizabeth. Awesome! lol But, difficult to be unique. Although, I love the name Lauren Elizabeth for a little girl. There is actually a long/short story behind that name. Okay, I will let you go. Thanks again.
